German techno duo Add-us present the powerfully atmospheric and euphoric ‘Zone’ released on their new Solution Records label on 21 January. A tantalizing preview of what the duo has in store for the label in 2022 and beyond!
‘Zone,’ Add-us and Solution Records’ first release of 2022, demonstrates their future direction. Add-us describe the hypnotic ‘Zone,’ a track full of melodic overtones and deep, driving basslines, as giving the listener “time to breathe deeply, which makes your pulse skyrocket.”
The record strongly dictates the course of events. It allows you to take a few deep breaths, which causes your heart rate to skyrocket.
In ‘Zone,’ each passing beat represents a new goal and the often difficult journey to get there. The frantic, adrenaline-pumping arrangement depicts the difficult path to these goals as we inch closer, step by step. There is also no pause during the break. The goal is finally achieved with whipping snare rolls and soaring synths. When the drop arrives, it’s time to take a deep breath. The journey continues in calm seas. ‘Zone‘ should inspire you to fight for everything you want to achieve.

Robert Prieß and Patrick Mugele, two friends, founded Add-us.
