Alok makes a comeback with a new single, “Surrender,” just one week after dropping his surprising g-house track “Kill Me.”

With this dark progressive gem, which is supported by deep, growling basslines and soulful vocals, Alok demonstrates his prowess as a producer by branching out in a new sound direction. The emotional impact of “Surrender” is substantial, yet it also has an underground atmosphere that works well for late-night dance floors. Alok collaborated on “Surrender” with his protégé from CONTROVERSIA – ÜHÜ, YOU, made up of Andrew “BullySongs” Bullimore and Josh Record, who are well-known for their work with Armin van Buuren, Galantis, and for being co-writers of some of the most popular dance music songs.

It’s a powerful way to cap off his remarkable year, which featured hit singles like “Deep Down” with Ella Eyre, Kenny Dope, and Never Dull and “All By Myself” with Ellie Goulding and Sigala, as well as remixes for artists like Marshmello and Khalid. He also had groundbreaking collaborations with Bastille, John Martin, Luis Fonsi, Alan Walker, and others. Alok performed at the UN to launch NYC’s Global Climate Week, as well as hundreds of other events all around the world this year with the return of clubbing and festivals. It’s all up from here for Alok, so stay tuned for what’s in store for 2023.
