After the great success of the Amsterdam EP, AmPm welcomed Marc Benjamin on the remix duty with his version of the EP’s title track.

Released only a couple of months ago, the original song, Amsterdam, is part of a bigger EP with the same name including the other four songs. Every record has been inspired by different cities in the world and Amsterdam, the EP title track has been released to celebrate the annual Amsterdam Dance Event, the leading electronic dance music festival in The Netherlands.

The duo started back in June and, now, less than a year after, they gained momentum amassing over 320.000 monthly listeners on Spotify. Their debut single, Best Part Of Us has now reached the 40 M Spotify streams and it’s counting.

With all this success, AmPm enlisted Dutch DJ and producer Marc Benjamin for a remix of their Amsterdam. This new Marc Benjamin version features richer and heavier dance sounds, as well as the original song’s melodic phrases, which have been made even more emotional. The remix features the iconic Dutch signature sounds, with dreamy melodic lines and minimal beats, everything packed together around AmPm’s original idea.

A well-known name in the electronic music field, Marc Benjamin has been a fixed addition to Nicky Romero’s Protocol Recordings roster. He also released onthe legendary Losing Focus on Axwell’s Axtone (over 5.4 M Spotify streams), on Steve Angello’s SIZE with Thunder, on Spinnin’ with All The Time (over 9.4 M Spotify streams) and this here he released a series of tunes on Future House Music; each one of them overcame the 1 M Spotify streams mark.

Mark Benjamin’s version is the first one of a series of remixes called “Globe-trotting Dance Track Series” planned to come out in the future.
