Amtrac has been pushing his creative limits as a producer, DJ, musician and vocalist since 2008 and “Companions,” his new release, made no exception.
Raised on an eclectic palate of musical influences from Pink Floyd, The Prodigy, and The Chemical Brothers since his childhood in Morehead, Kentucky, his vast musical exposure has led to an unrivaled diversity in his performances as well as across his own productions.

“Companions” contains all these influences within it. You can clearly hear a little bit of Daft Punk and older Pryda vibes on this record. The first time we heard it we immediately fell in love with it. The clean baseline, a rhythmic melody and the clever use of analog sounds will drive you in a unique time travel. With this record, it seems to be back in early 2000 where the tracks were very basic but with an enormous impact and. While listening to this masterpiece you will forget all your problems and the mind will start travel.
“Companions” by Amtrac its’ perfect for chill after a hard day or simply as a background music for an aperitif with friends or again to create the right mood during a DJ set.
