Second installment of Arty and NK’s upcoming EP From Russia With Love, Too Far Gone is currently out on Armada.
The last two years have been super interesting for Arty; the Russian superstar has brought back his trance-inspired alias Alpha 9 releasing incredible tunes on Anjunabeats and more. In parallel, Arty dropped six new releases during 2020 including the first and second volumes of From Russia With Love.
Both composed of four tracks each, From Russia With Love is a series of EPs in collaboration with producer buddy NK. Volume three is the latest installment of the EP series that can be easily considered a full album if put all the records together in a single collection.
Kicking off with a plucked and stripped main theme, Too Far Gone features an angelic and wonderful vocal. The melodic progression brings the listener to the first energetic drop in a kind of old-school groove house style. A clean and powerful baseline driven by a minimal but tight ryhtyhm makes the tune a dancefloor banger. Armed with charged club beats, surging synths, and soaring vocals, this record pushes clubbers over the edge and into the musical rabbit hole.
