With his new ‘Party Started‘ EP for Factory 93 Records, NYC-bred producer Avision demonstrates his impressive breadth, with three meticulously constructed cuts aimed at different moments on the dancefloor.

Following the release of his single “Party Started (Set It Off)” on Factory 93, Avision is now preparing the eponymous three-track EP for the label, which includes two massive additions that showcase the New Yorker’s unique ability to create earth-shattering techno groovers.

With early support from Carl Cox, Green Velvet, Honey Dijon, Paco Osuna, and more, the ‘Party Started’ EP is already lighting a fire in the clubs. The massive 909 beats on the lead track have already been making the rounds, providing a percussive workout on his take on Strafe’s timeless classic “Set It Off.”

The EP’s second track, “Bring It,” combines dubbed-out chord stabs with slowly undulating bass riffs before dropping into a thick groove laced with sub, skittering claps, and heaps of 707 cowbell.

Finally, “Can’t Shake The Break” brings a decidedly house vibe to the release, endlessly chopping and flipping a chunky disco sample over punchy, playful drums. It’s one of those songs that will have dancers begging for more.

The title track has received universal acclaim and has served as an excellent prelude to the full package. It has become a staple in sets from some of the most credible gatekeepers in the techno space, as well as receiving some highly sought-after airtime on BBC Radio 1 from Pete Tong. The support is going to continue to blow the lid off now that these two new offerings are joining the party, so make sure to keep a close watch on New York’s underground favorite, Avision.

Avision’s new ‘Party Started’ EP is out now on Factory 93 Records.
