biskuwi returns on his Mercurial Tones with ‘Half-true’

Not only techno-driven beats as the record features an incredible mystical main synth, flowing naturally over the tune.

Swedish DJ and producer biskuwi is back with a new melodic-techno banger in the form of Half-trueout now via Mercurial Tones.

You may remember him as we already featured him on the blog several times now; his melodic-techno signature sound has always amazed us and he’s now back with another gem. Kicking off with a dark and minimal beat, packed with a rolling percussive rhythm in the form of shakers, Half-true rapidly jumps into a dark but effective first drop. Not only techno-driven beats as the record features an incredible mystical main synth, flowing naturally over the tune. An angelic vocal completes the track letting the listeners hang into a limbo of narcotic melodies and hard beats.

This time biskuwi went way darker and deeper compared to the previous release. From Salvewhere the artist discovered the more melodic side of house music to Cause I Grew Up with darker and more intimate vibes, the man has evolved with his music. Some months ago, during the lockdown, he with a couple of others producers friends turned Netflix’s intro music in full track.

Half-true is out now via Mercurial Tones; focused on deep, techno and melodic music, the imprint could be a true discovery for the fun of the genre. You can check the whole tune below or follow this link to download your copy.
