Caius & EAUXMAR land on Martin Garrix STMPD with ‘Hurt U’

Last updated:

Martin Garrix imprint STMPD welcomes Caius & EAUXMAR for their aesthetic and minimalistic ‘Hurt U’.

It’s a fact that Martin Garrix’ STMPD has turned into a multigenre music label, covering the whole rainbow of the dance music. ‘Hurt U’ by Caius & EAUXMAR is another example of STMPD’ dynamicity. Soft and chill melody lines merged with 90’s and early 00’s elements made the track a true gem. The sound reminds the minimalistic and aesthetic Japanese culture; ‘Hurt U’ is one of that track imbued with vaporwave vibes perfect to be heard lying into a park while watching the sky during the hanami season.

Muted piano chords and soulful vocal cuts kick the track off. The warm chord progression provides a beautiful base for the pitched vocals as tinges of synth euphoria ease up into the foreground. A stomping beat slams in as bright 8-bit melodies blast into action with thick bass underpinning each note. More cute melodic motifs abound in the next break before a live electric bassline unfolds to add a little funk to the proceedings. An incredible ear for melody shines through boldly and brightly on this scintillating new track.

From the suburbs of Copenhagen comes Danish electronic producer Caius. His first track, released 4 years ago has immediately become viral with, now, 300k plays. EAUXMAR was STMPD RCRDS’ youngest signing artists; he recently remixed Martin Garrix hit ‘Dreamer’ in a wonderful way.
