Canadian duos Eminence and Weston & Teston join forces for a dreamy and surreal 2-track EP, The Return on Monstercat Silk.
The EP has a long story. Feel Like Home, which is the first track of the EP, was first conceived in 2019 but only came to fruition when Weston & Teston pitched the idea to Eminence in 2020. The four were inspired to write an emotional, warm, and uplifting song.
We like how the arpeggio and gritty bass worked together to create a sound that combines elements of progressive house and trance music. Once the song was finished, we reached out to Delaney Kai for vocals to bring it to life. – Eminence and Weston & Teston
The track kicks in with Delaney Kai‘s angelic and intimate vocal, paired with dreamy and romantic arpeggios. The clean and passionate beat gives depth to the track, creating a feeling between carefree and airiness.

On the B-side, Vertigo keeps the original musical strand but adds deeper, darker, and more serious percussions. This tune has a groovy melody and a driving beat. Furthermore, Vertigo features Aloma Steele‘s vocals, which are sure to get you singing along. Vertigo embodies processive house and trance music styles. Perfect for everyday activities ranging from the club to chilling the peak time at around 1:30 delivers an incredible feeling of well-being and comfort.
Having started their career back in 2001, Eminence have started to climb charts in 2012 when they debited on Monstercat. Since then, they’ve been habitué on the label with a series of releases that have overcome the 1 M streams mark. They have also been featured on Rocket League x Monstercat Vol. 1, a compilation of the popular videogame.
Weston & Teston are two upcoming producers from Canada. They’ve debuted on Intersection Recordings in 2018 and The Return EP is their first release on Monstercat.
