Israeli DJ Israel Kimchi dropped crazy 15-minute live set

Almost everyone can click play on a CDJ and beat match a couple of tracks but what about live mixing? In the industry, there are very few artists that can manage a true live-DJ set with hardware synthesizers, live drums and more. You surely have seen/hear about Stephan Bodzin, a master in this field but, there are a lot of less-known artists that play the “live DJ-set game.”

All the way from Israel, DJ Israel Kimchi is a master of live DJ-set mixed with high-quality video content. His last performance, now available on his Youtube channel, is something else.

Kicking off with Maceo Plex and his minimal and techno vibes, the mix continues with Deniz Kabu, Moonwalk, The Cube Guys and more.

Besides the incredible mix and music, Israel Kimchi set up incredible video content. Like a captain of a space ship, Kimchi standout in the middle of this futuristic space, surrounded by music gears and LEDs.

If you are curious about his set up, Israel Kimchi uses the Traktor S4 MK2 controller two Roland Drum Machine (SPD-Sx and HPD-20), a Roland PD-85BK V Drum Pad. The setup is enriched by a box with screws (for shaker sounds) and a kazoo (for alarm sound).
