Defected unveils official music video for Jack Back’s ‘(It Happens) Sometimes’

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]‘(It Happens) Sometimes’ was the debut release from Jack Back, David Guetta’s alias allowing him to embrace his musical freedom and get back in touch with his underground house roots. The first piece of music Jack Back shared with the world, it was closely followed by a mixtape and album, causing a stir throughout global dance music. Diehard Guetta fans will object that this track isn’t the debut one from his House alias; in fact, it already appeared in 2012 on a remix of Guetta’s own “Wild Ones” feat. Sia, but that was a remix collab with Nicky Romero, so we’ll just pretend that it never happened.

By the ways, Guetta took the Jack Back project very seriously: he hosted a great ADE party on Saturday night, culminated with a legendary b2b between him, Tom Staar, and Sebastian Ingrosso. Will the French maestro pursue the underground road with this new project? We’ll see, but certainly, his interest toward the House and Techno scenes is bigger than ever.

‘(It Happens) Sometimes’ soared to Beatport no.1 and has had three million streams on Spotify to date, as well as receiving ongoing support on BBC Radio 1’s Dance Anthems and international stations across the globe. Now, Defected are excited to reveal Jack Back’s first official music video, that embodies the spirit of the track and shows how to let yourself go.[/vc_column_text][vc_video link=”https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4LLhNMDltjc” align=”center”][/vc_column][/vc_row]
