The official music video for Lastlings’s Noise, a Japanese-Australian sibling electronic duo, has just been released. Noise is currently available on RÜFÜS DU SOL’s Rose Avenue Records.
As the third single from their upcoming album, “Noise” continues the healing musical journey begun by previous singles “Get What You Want” and “Holding Me Like Water.” With its avant-garde fusion of electronic, indie, and pop sensibilities, “Noise” captivates with a subtle balance of hope and melancholy. Josh’s euphoric synth-led production expertly envelops Amy’s mournful voice as she sings, “If you’re ready come and get me, cuz I’ll never let you go,” creating a heartfelt story of longing for a lost love.

The music video, which was directed by Kidsofbill, focuses on the song’s lyrical concept and takes viewers on a journey that follows Bridget Gao Hollitt, an Australian actress of Chinese descent, to an emotional final dance at Sydney’s Chung Do Taekwondo class.
Our intention with ‘Noise’ was for the atmosphere to lead, a sort of late night downtown world where peculiar things are commonplace. Then we place in Bridget Gao Hollitt’s character, a young chef with a lingering break up breathing down her neck, and things just go from bad to worse to one big cathartic release. – Kidsofbill
Josh and Amy Dowdle, a brother and sister team from Japan and Australia, are known around the world for their upbeat live electronic show Lastlings.
