Part of a 2-track EP by Maxi Meraki, Sight is the first of the EP blending together deep and melodic techno vibes on 72 Pixels.
Fresh from a brand new 3-track collection on True Romance Sight is the second 2020 release for Maxi Meraki on 72 Pixels as the producer debuted early this year with Basic Instinct/Always There that has amassed over 350.000 plays on Spotify. The mood of his new production follows the first release on the label with hypnotic and soothing melodic lines packed with rolling rhythm and deep long cinematic elements. The track adds also a layer of dark and minimal beats for an incredible journey.
Eastern Vision follows the same path with a more afro-house inspired stamp. The vocal perfectly matches the mysterious and monumental vibes that flow through the record.
Melodic and techno-oriented vibes on one side and deep, dark, and narcotic elements on the other, Sight / Eastern Vision is a true journey via Maxi Meraki’s electronic music vision.
All the way from Antwerp, Belgium, Maxi Meraki is a funky, (minimal) house, DJ, and producer. Last year he played as a resident for at the W Hotel in Barcelona and Izakaya Ibiza, besides other appearances around Europe.
A sunny season filled with extra gigs: Soho House (Barcelona), Bagatelle (Ibiza), Plage Casanis (Marbella), and the absolute highlight playing on Ibiza’s most popular boat ‘Pirata’s Ibiza’ next to DC 10’s resident DJ Nathan Barato. Also in July releasing his debut track ‘Reflections’ on his own label: Meraki records. The track got support from e.g. Paco Osuna, Bebetta, and Gene Farris. He also hosts Data Transmission’s show every two weeks.
