Ole Sturm returns on Discovery Project with ‘Gungame’

All the way from Germany, Ole Sturm lands once again on Insomniac’s imprint Discovery Project with heavy bass single Gungame, a collab with Santino.

Having debuted on Discovery Project this year with Distress, another heavy techno-bass banger, Ole Sturm brings back his signature sound with a new twist. Kicking off with cinematic and long melodic lines, the tune introduces an aura of mystery and deep harmonies. The introduction of the heavy rolling rhythm adds depth to the tune bringing it back to the dancefloor. A true festival weapon that will surely work in the upcoming summer season, on both clubs and huge festival grounds.

Ole Sturm, who was born in 1997 in South-West Germany and raised among vineyards and classical music, began playing the violin at the age of four. Since then, he has developed a strong interest in driven electronic dance music. After writing and producing songs for artists such as Steve Aoki, Moguai, Pretty Pink, and Aka Aka, he decided it was time to focus more on his own music as an artist in order to be able to bring his own ideas to the dancefloor. His main influences are neuro Drum n Bass, with Trance-like melodies mixed in with groovy tech-house beats. This results in a one-of-a-kind Bass House sound that will blow any speaker system away.

The Discovery Project was created by Insomniac to give emerging artists in the electronic music world a voice. The platform aims to bring today’s fresh faces to light through editorial exposure, performance competitions, and a unique artist collective, with the goal of cultivating the scene’s untapped talent.
