Named after the god of good health and the god of love Peter Yorck‘s 2-track EP Asklepios/Eros features peak time/driving techno vibes with a melodic, trancy kind of breakdown.
Kicking off with Asklepios, the record kicks off with a rambling rolling rhythm and a hypnotic main theme. The non-stop percussions deliver a feeling of perdition that explodes on the first drop. Hard techno beats paired with ethereal synth drive harmonies and mysterious cinematic lines make Asklepios a true festival weapon. On an even darker and more enigmatic note, Eros introduces vague basslines and drifting rhythm for a perfect closing of this 2-track EP.
Peter Yorckwas born and raised in Damme, a small village near Bruges. When he turned 15, he began experimenting in FL Studio. In the past years, Peter Yorck is at the base of many originals, remixes & mashups. In February 2019, he won second place in the famous National DJ Competition (Belgium), out of 2500 competitors.
Now, he’s back with Asklepios/Eros which is available via Beatport.
