The Amsterdam-based duo, Road Kahan, debuts on legendary Nora En Pure‘s imprint Purified with an incredible groove-deep and organic 2-track EP The Day Comes.
Kicking off with the title track, The Day Comes, Road Kahan features an angelic and mesmerizing vocal paired with cinematic and ambient sounds. The rolling ryhtyhm that kicks in on the first drop adds that feeling of movement perfectly balanced with the ethereal long melodic lines that flow over the whole track. The spoken vocal piece is matched with a brooding bassline that pushes the track along, intertwining the vocal with a selection of deliciously dark synths and heavy percussion.
Right Here With You goes deeper and more melodic, borrowing melodic-techno sounds and perfectly combining them with deep and progressions arpeggio to creating a delightful combination of both. Picking up the tempo and bursting with a scintillating selection of synths and delicate piano chords Road Kahan showcase incredible skills on both the melodic and percussive side of electronic music production. Exuding an intergalactic energy, this creation takes listeners on a sonic ride that they will not want to end.
Road Kahan have come a long way with this release as they’ve kicked off their career on Armada Music in 2017, continuing to evolve and release incredible tunes.
