Swedish talent Stephan Duy is back on Dutch label ARTWRK with Beating his first release of the new decade.
Being one of the most promising house music artists in the circuit, Stephan Duy is known for his releases on Code Red, Flamingo and Malavida, in 2019 he has achieved 52k streams from 77 different countries on Spotify. Now, after his debut in 2019 with Soundsystem, he’s back with another house anthem.
Kicking off with a catchy and rolling rhythm, the record features an incredible top vocal that drives the track to the first drop. A clean and minimal plucked up-and-down beat will make you dance all night long.
It started out being a deep house idea, with much more scaled-down drums and simpler bass. I felt the track needed a vocal phrase, so I looked around in some sample packs and found a cool phrase that fit the track. I later decided to switch the direction of the idea and turn it into a peak time track for the club. – Stephan Duy
Beating is another proof of Duy’s talent and the incredible work that ARTWRK is doing. The Netherlands-based record label has imposed itself last year as one of the most original house music labels in the panorama.
