Mixing dreamy melodies and hypnotic groove, Subside makes his debut on Immersed family with a 2-track EP, Informality.
Kicking off with the EP track’s title, Subside introduces us to the EP with chill and relaxing melodic lines backed up by a groovy and catchy percussive rhythm. The record progresses into wide and mysterious bassline to open up into the breakdown where dreamy and cinematic harmonies take the lead of the tune. The surreal arpeggio flows through the second part giving a sense of calm and peace. The tune is romantic and passionate, unlike the second installment of the EP, Closer. On this second record, the vibes are more hypnotic and non-stop, with a clean but narcotic beat. The record goes deep and dark, introduces cryptic synth lines and vague basslines.
Subside launched his project this year, with the first release Songspire Records; Lost Prince, the name of the release, received great acclamations from the fans with almost 50.000 streams on Spotify only. Now, with his new Informality EP he wants to double down the result delivering another exceptional piece of electronic music.
