Versus, UK house duo, lands on the legendary Ultra Music with a revisit of the classic iconic hit Turn Me Out.

Dave Skehan and Scott Walker, better known as Versus, are an electronic duo who have blazed a trail through the UK club scene and beyond. Their chemistry in the studio and when performing live is electric, as it has been for several years. They’ve been hotly tipped by some of House music’s most influential figures after performances at The Warehouse Project, Ministry of Sound, and their own sell-out Versus & Friends parties over the last few years.

Versus’ style is steeped in a traditional house and rave culture, with songs ranging from hypnotic warehouse rollers like 2019’s Lick It to soaring main room anthems like 2020’s Afraid in collaboration with Dissolut and Nicola Green. With prior releases on legendary labels including as Armada, Under No Illusion, SOLA, and Realm, they now make their Ultra Music debut with the massive Turn Me Out – a smashing reworking of the Praxis/Kathy Brown club classic.

Turn Me Out uses ravey stabs, pummeling drums, broken beats, and that iconic vocal to create a true moment of a record that will be devastating dancefloors and festivals alike for months to come.

Versus came together as a result of a chance encounter at a local radio station in South Manchester. Dave manned the UK Garage/House department, proving themselves true students of the art, after starting out selling vinyl in Scott’s own record shop. With a well-earned education, they now look to Christoph, Camelphat, Borris Brejcha, Stephan Bobzin, as well as fellow Mancunians Solardo and Chris Lake for inspiration.
