Vintage Culture and Goodboys drop official remixes of ‘This Feeling’

With the official remix package for their feel-good festival blockbuster “This Feeling,” which was released earlier this year on Insomniac Records, Vintage Culture and Goodboys cap off a historic 2022.

Recently, Grammy-winning singer-songwriter and production team Goodboys and international house prodigy Vintage Culture handed the torch to Finnish groove expert Yotto in order to revive the hype surrounding the stunning single “This Feeling.” Released at the end of August, Yotto’s version turned the ephemeral vocal hook and iconic motif on a progressive journey punctuated by mesmerizing arps, stunning sustained chords, and a blissfully euphoric soundscape.

The track has been a staple in his sets ever since, as well as drawing support from Oliver Heldens, The Chainsmokers, Nora En Pure, Tiësto, Solardo, John Digweed, and more. With a brand-new round of remixes, Vintage Culture and Goodboys are prepared to let “This Feeling” shine brighter than ever.

Gabe, a veteran of Brazilian house music, has worked with Vintage Culture on a number of co-produced songs, including “Creep” and “Into You” with Patrick Baker. Gabe’s remix strips back the grandeur of the original, opting to sprinkle in the vocal hums over thudding basslines, rotund stabs, and spacious, echoing synth glitches.

Korolova, known for creating shiver-inducing grooves and densely layered progressions, has emerged as the darling of melodic house and techno. The Ukrainian sensation’s talents are on full display here, as she laces the vocal hook into an entrancing matrix of ethereal arpeggiations, brooding bass stabs, swelling string pads, and one of the smoothest drives imaginable.

The following release features a tag-team performance by two hot Greek house artists that combine their talents. Velvet Mode and Chris Arna bring the energy to boil, delivering an energetic melodic tech remix bolstering cascading synth riffs, dark undertones, ricocheting builds, and scuttling basslines.

Another team effort that reunites old friends and Brazilian pioneers FractaLL and Rocksted brings the event to a close. They both have a reputation for working at the cutting edge of house music, and their reinterpretation demonstrates their capacity to do so. Bit crush melodies, hazy chords, hissing hats, shuffling percussion, elastic basslines, and reverberating vox all contribute to the creation of something wholly original and energizing.

Now that the “This Feeling (Remixes)” are starting to acquire popularity, Vintage Culture and Goodboys are prepared to once again capture those unique ephemeral moments on the dancefloor with the help of an extraordinary team of remixers.

This Feeling (Remixes) by Vintage Culture and Goodboys is available from Insomniac Records on all platforms.
