Solomun’s Diynamic Music welcomes Adana Twins to their ‘Picture:’ installment

The German duo delivers six eagerly awaited tunes in this journey through their signature sound

Diynamic Music’s ‘Picture:’ series is a document in time, showcasing an artist’s current creative output in order to allow the listener to visualize and understand the artist at a certain moment. It is not an album format, but far more than merely an EP. ‘Picture:’ is various dancefloor-oriented facettes of one producer, shaping the imagery that ultimately results in the listeners’ mind.

Picture: Adana Twins’ showcases the Hamburg duo’s heavy production skills and finally unveils some long-awaited gems that have had the Insta-sphere asking for track IDs for months. From laidback house vibes to soaring techno, the sixth installment of the ‘Picture:’ series covers the artists’ full spectrum.

Opening up is My Computer with Glowal, an up-and-coming Italian duo with releases on specialized labels such as Innervisions, ATLANT and Sapiens: the track, which has a clear Kraut Rock imprint, is a relentless Melodic Techno banger armed with an electrifying bassline and a catchy robotic vocal. Next is Agonist, already played out a lot by CamelPhat, a simple, dark, punching tune gifted with an irresistible melody. Slowing down a little bit is Maoa, whose enchanting House shape drives the listener on a proper trip.

The energy rises again with the fourth track, C3PO, which borrows some futuristic-sounding elements from ‘My Computer’ and pairs them with an obsessive main melody. Nobis is all about solemn atmospheres and echoing synths, while closing track Little Karlo is a groovy showcase for Adana Twins’ favorite synths.
