Tony Romera and Bellecour drop ‘CHIANT EP’ on Insomniac

On their CHIANT EP take turns kicking out hyper-effective grooves, ranging from wonky bass house cuts to fuzzy house weapons.

Tony Romera and Bellecour are back with a 4-track EP on Insomniac called CHIANT EP.

While house sensation Tony Romera and fellow French duo Bellecour have been turning the house scene inside-out via their individual projects, both of these boundary-breaking acts have making deep strides within the Insomniac Music Group family. Tony has churned out collabs alongside Dombresky and Noizu on Insomniac Records, while Bellecour made a splash on IN / ROTATION by way of their ‘Choukar’ two-tracker.

Now, these forward-thinking artists are meeting in the middle on a perfectly balanced package with an alternating tracklist. On their CHIANT EP take turns kicking out hyper-effective grooves, ranging from wonky bass house cuts to fuzzy house weapons.

Kicking off with Tony Romera’s solo single Take Me, featuring the incredible Dorothy Sherman vocal, the track features hard-hitting beats and catchy percussive rhythm that perfectly wraps around the infectious vocal. A perfect track to inflame the club’s dancefloors.

The second on the tracklist is Bellecour’s single Maxi Tacos which mixes a child-inspired vocal with a very cool melodic progression; the track features the iconic Bellecour’s signature sound made of wide and well-defined baseline and bubbling baseline. A track that blends together new and old house music elements to create a special mix of feelings.

Reaching the track’s number three of the CHIANT EP, we found again Tony Romero with the bouncy single You & Me. Again, particular attention has been paid to the vocal loop on top that creates the right depth and variation on the record. On top of that a super engaging synth line that makes the tune a true club anthem.

Last but not least, Bellecour closes the EP with Fever 105. He has decided to go harder with a hard-hitting beat and raw baselines. The track still features a catchy vocal loop but, the main energy is delivered by the perfect collision between percussions and the baseline.

Tony Romera and Bellecourare CHIANT EP is currently out on Insomniac Records. You can check the EP below or download it here.
