Wanderlust Vision presents Periodica – CONCRETE

A mix of 10 different musical visions packed into a single product, the collection is made of contamination between multiple beings with a seasonal approach.

Klaus‘s brainchild, Wanderlust Vision presents its first various artist compilation: Periodica – CONCRETE. Putting together 10 different musical visions into a single product, the collection is made of contamination between multiple beings with a seasonal approach.

What’s Wanderlust Vision

Wanderlust Vision is a 360-degree brand that seeks to engage several communities, both online and offline, by fusing music with a thoughtful approach to the present state of affairs. 2020 saw the birth of the project as a reaction to geographical and social limitations: a prime example of innovative cultural promotion is the first event at the Museo del Novecento in Milan, where different types of art are told in a unique story. Wanderlust Vision is a branding and product development company, an events platform, and a record label. It is a dynamic and contemporary process that is continually moving and evolving in response to the needs and challenges we find on our journey, seeking solutions for people and the world.

Periodica – CONCRETE

Packed with ten exclusive tunes, coming from different artists that helped Wanderlust Vision to evolve, Periodica – Concrete represents just this concept at its core. A mix of different styles, musical visions, and ideas for a single outcome.

The various artists’ collection kicks off with a single from one of Wanderlust’s creators: Klaus. Matterhorn is inspired by the namesake mountain of the Alps, straddling the main watershed and border between Switzerland and Italy. Matterhorn, or Cervino in Italian, is one of the highest summits in the Alps and all of Europe, it is a sizable, nearly symmetrical pyramidal peak in the extended Monte Rosa region of the Pennine Alps. The record definitely recalls this alpine feeling, made of vast space, long and cinematic harmonies, and sometimes organic and natural percussions. Klaus’s Matterhorn delivers a sense of well-being and mystery as only the mountains can deliver.

Next a collaboration with Madmotormiquel and Iorie, No Doubt. The tune goes deep and minimal, with dark vocals and a raw percussive rhythm. It’s clean, soft, and relaxing but at the same time opaque and vague. Long-time Wanderlust Vision friend, Scala, also join the compilation. Quaranta goes even deeper with a mix of mystical stripped piano lines and well-crafted beats. Up next, Odeon with Perilune which brings us into one of that fairy tale valleys you can find in the Alps. The record delivers joyful melodies and stress-free strings. It’s time for some industrial and experimental techno with &lex bringing some solid metallic sounds with his Harms. The atmosphere starts to become dark with Mariatti and She Said. The mysterious lines perfectly collide with the up-and-down and catchy percussion creating a mixed feeling of thoughtlessness and perdition. Unaltrome then guides you into his deeper emotions with Sensazioni to then flow into Carlo Whale‘s Nothing Left. It’s both relaxing and melancholic, as the track’s title suggests. Reaching the latest part of the compilation with HolyU and Mood Of Rustle which brings once again experimental and raw percussions into various artists that is everything but boring. Last but not least, closing with the fast percussions of minds&machinesEverything injects some solid drum’n’bass into Wanderlust Vision’s Periodica – CONCRETE compilation.

Wanderlust Vision is not just music, is a lifestyle. We suggest having a look at its website to know more about its incredible path and goals for the future.
