On August 26th, 8 years after making his Spinnin’ Records debut at the age of 16, acclaimed UK talent Aevion fully launches his debut “Memories” EP. Over the previous months, he had developed a brand-new musical direction by pulling inspiration from vintage House and Disco sounds. With signings on Armada Music, Martin Garrix’s STMPD RCRDS, Oliver Heldens’ Heldeep, and Tiesto’s AFTR:HRS since then, the young London producer has drawn the attention of influential members of the music industry. He has since evolved toward a funkier and groovier sound that was created through The Magician’s very own Potion Records.
Aevion, real name Harry Andrews, has become well-known within the Belgian imprint since his arrival in 2019. He presents a 6-track opus that includes the previously released songs “Bonheur,” “You Are All I Need,” and “Metropolis.” The EP weaves through melancholic French Touch influences on “Metropolis”, “Paradise” and “First Dance”, Italo Disco infectious rhythms on “Bonheur” and summer-friendly Piano House on “Be The One”.
Due to his exceptional ability to produce furious yet emotionally rich house music, Aevion’s distinct approach on this EP smoothly merges old-sounding House elements with modern productions, creating a Disco tour de force ready to leave its contagious mark on every dancefloor it touches.
Aevion has already distinguished himself by bringing his explosive house music to Tomorrowland, earning a spot on the festival’s 2020 Ones to Watch list, as well as by performing at prestigious nightclubs like Hi Ibiza and Ministry of Sound London.
