For today’s club anthem, “We Go Out,” international hitmaker Alesso enlists the help of the Dutch duo, Sick Individuals, via 10:22PM/Astralwerks. Alesso included the floor filler in his repertoire at the Tomorrowland and Creamfields festivals, and it quickly became a fan favorite thanks to its powerful builds, throbbing beats, and explosive collapses.
“We Go Out” is in many ways a tribute to the dance music scene. The catchy chorus proclaims, “We go out dancing together, we gotta rave all night.” The tempting banger combines tried-and-true clubland themes with fresh tones, textures, and off-kilter time signatures to function as both a noisy throwback and a bold look forward. The track has been played massively during Alesso’s latest set including EDC Las Vegas and Ultra Miami.
Although Alesso and Sick Individuals have long been acquaintances, “We Go Out” is their first collaboration. Considering the amount of support the song has garnered since its festival debut, it is unlikely to be their last. The anticipated track comes just weeks after Alesso rolled out an EP of remixes of “Words,” his crossover smash with pop star Zara Larsson. Chapter & Verse, Sentinel, Arodes, and Majestic all contributed remixes to the package, which also includes a VIP mix.
Following Alesso’s most recent track “In My Feelings,” a sensuous yet moody duet with Deniz Koyu, comes the remix collection. Additionally this year, he released “Only You,” a Sentinel-assisted progressive club anthem, and “Dark,” a gloomy and dynamic song specially composed for THE BATMAN. 2022 has been a huge year for Alesso, with the original version of “Words” garnering more than 150 million streams and peaking at number one on American dance radio.
