Despite not being a full-time duo project, they have been working a lot together in the past months, and also managed to play back to back.

After the appreciated “Otic” on Anjunabeats, and a monumental remix for Mel’s “Santiago”, the duo is back with his first EP, “Transmission 1“. Welcoming this three-track installment is nothing less than Solomun‘s Diynamic Music imprint: “The King” showed massive support over the EP’s opening track “The Q” in the past months, so he decided to sign it together with “Nebula” and “Plates”.

Opening track “The Q” (which comes in the instrumental version only), much like the closing track “Plates”, are reminiscent of old UK garage raves with a hint of acid. Minuscule shifts in the pitch give that certain cassette-nostalgia, transporting the listener back to the early 90s. The centerpiece titled “Nebula” is a driving melodic deep house tune with a hefty break that brings things to a halt right at its centre, only to return with the catchy riff that is its main feature.
