ALOK and Vintage Culture have teamed up to reissue Oxia‘s 2006 techno hit “Domino,” which is out now on CONTROVERSIA (download).

Domino,’ a mesmerizing progressive house tune with an emotionally driven 303 bassline and euphoric breaks, creates a lasting impact. The tune, a version of Oxia‘s techno classic of the same name, is filled with brooding synth leads, teeming with diversity while imparting character that is unmistakably ALOK & Vintage Culture.

Keeping unaltered the iconic main melody, this new version introduces more hypnotic vibes with faster and groovy beats. The wide and heavier bassline flow seamlessly into the iconic harmonies for a feeling of lightheartedness and peace that only this track can deliver.

I was ecstatic to be able to get my hands on Oxia’s classic Domino and to be able to rework it with my fellow Brazilian brother Vintage Culture, especially for release on my Controversia imprint. We wanted to add our own style of deeper sounds that still honours the original release, with each of our unique stamps on the production. I can’t wait to play it live during my European tour starting later this month! – Alok

Working with Alok on “Domino” provided the opportunity to work with a good friend in music on a timeless song. I believe we created a fresh sound for this classic track without losing the essence of the original version. I’m looking forward to bringing “Domino” to audiences around the world on my tour. – Vintage Culture

Domino‘ is an atmospheric house masterpiece made by three dance music legends, available now on CONTROVERSIA.
