ANTS celebrates 10 years at Ushuaïa Ibiza with new residents

With ANTS 10 YEARS STRONG, one of Ibiza’s most renowned underground parties will mark ten years at the top. As it looks to the future with a 22-week season, every Saturday from 6 May to 30 September, the renownedly original and high-concept ANTS is set to take things to a new level at Ushuaïa Ibiza. The season will begin with a trio of epic day-and-night extravagANTS’ers. Dancers can anticipate a revitalized soundtrack with a combination of new and returning residents, exciting new headliners, and creative debutants, making this a really spectacular season, in addition to an all-new and immersive show.

ANTS 10 YEARS STRONG will be a season-long celebration of cutting-edge music and breathtaking immersive productions on a scale never before seen. ANTS has always been at the forefront of underground house and techno. The legendary Ushuaïa Ibiza will undergo a complete transformation, with its grand pool stage in the center of the action and cutting-edge audio-visuals transporting you to a different realm. Three day-to-night events that will take place in both Ushuaïa and H Ibiza will kick off the season. They will have carefully chosen line-ups that honor the best aspects of the ANTS sound while also bringing in a ton of new artists to move the party forward and set an impossibly high bar for the rest of the season. This will be a year to remember for sure.

Residents at ANTS include Andrea Oliva, Vintage Culture, Francisco Allendes, and more

At the center of every ANTS party are the season-long residents, who this year include Andrea Oliva, a stalwart of the series, Brazilian hitmaker Vintage Culture, White Isle talent Chelina Manuhutu, breakout UK star SYREETA, tech house legend and Saved Record boss Nic Fanciulli, and fellow tech talent Francisco Allendes.

The season starts with three day-into-night events which will take place across both Ushuaïa & Hï Ibiza, featuring carefully curated line-ups that celebrate all that is loved about the ANTS sound. Watch out for headline performances from melody master Kölsch and Bristol’s Eats Everything at the spectacular Opening Party on May 6th, among many more well-known artists. On May 13, the second day-to-night event, ANTS residents will be joined by artists such as the traveling Manchester duo Solardo, Richy Ahmed, and many others. On May 20, performances by the internationally renowned Drumcode boss Adam Beyer, a special b2b set from Andrea Oliva and Davide Squillace, and a ton of new additions will usher the party into a new era.

This year’s ANTS will have unique highlight performances by experts in their industry in addition to the best team of residents. These include the hugely successful German techno powerhouse that is Paul Kalkbrenner (Live) (Jun 17), high-tech minimal innovator Boris Brejcha (Jun 10, Jul 22), renowned techno pioneer Loco Dice and Mercury Music Prize-winning grime artist Skepta (Aug 12), Spain’s most famous techno export Paco Osuna (Sep 30), Knee Deep In Sound boss Hot Since 82 (Sep 9), and three performances from new school house influencer Patrick Topping. Eli & Fur, Ilario Alicante, Joris Voorn, Lauren Lane, Matthias Tanzmann, Maya Jane Coles, and Pete Tong are just a few of the other worldwide artists providing their own unique takes on house and techno. This will be a year to remember for sure.

Artists to look for at ANTS are a lot.

Together with well-known figures from the entire electronic music scene, ANTS at Ushuaia keeps a keen eye on the future with a host of up-and-coming artists who are all making their debuts this season. These eagerly awaited debutANTS feature the live French electronic music pair Oden & Fatzo (live), Tini Gessler, a longtime island favorite, Melanie Ribbe, a Moon Harbour artist, East End Dubs‘ low-slung minimal tech, and renowned Romanian DJ & producer Mahony. Last year’s summer hit-making duo LF System also join the bill, along with forward-thinking Spaniard Dennis Cruz, France’s Salomé Le Chat, Miami scene staple Ms Mada, and Paris-based DJ-producer Manda Moor. All of this is in addition to a ton of other cutting-edge house and techno tracks by Ida Engberg of Drumcode, Fleur Shore of the UK, Miane of Spain, HoneyLuv of Los Angeles, and Silvie Loto of Italy.

Latmun, Cloonee, Wade, and Mason Collective are among the regulars from ANTS who are making a welcome comeback in 2023. All this, plus Alisha, Alec Monopoly, Archie Hamilton, Arielle Free, Frankie Rizardo, Detlef, Doozie, Dunmore Brothers, EDD, Florentia, Franky Wah, Mace & Masters, Gonçalo, Joey Daniel, John Summit, LF System, Manu Gonzalez, Melé, Raul Rodriguez, Simina Grigoriu, The Menendez Brothers, Wade, wAFF, Wheats, and YAYA make this ANTS biggest lineup ever.
