Including remixes by Aera and Whitesquare, Argy presents the first of a three remix pack series of Interior Journey.
What can be said about Argy‘s album “Interior Journey“? With its diverse sweep, which included the chart-topping, dancefloor-destroyer, ‘Ketuvim,’ the critically acclaimed LP marked his first release in two years and confirmed his status as one of the world’s most exciting electronic producers.
Now he’s back with the first of three very special ‘Interior Journey Remix’ EPs, in which he’s enlisted the help of a number of well-known artists to remix a variety of tracks.
I had real fun reaching out to producers, both friends and colleagues,” he explains, “the response was incredible; everyone we asked more or less got onboard so the upshot is a portfolio of reinterpretations with real depth and quality. Part 1 is very fitting because it lays down a real statement of what’s to come… – Argy
We may be biased, but he isn’t entirely incorrect.
First up is Whitesquare, the Italian king of all things indie who has already released on big music labels such as Life and Death, who transforms Argy’s collaboration with And.ID, “High Priest,” into a perfect summer house anthem. This is without a doubt the record that will lift your spirits and celebrate the re-opening of our global dance floors.
Then Aera, who turns ‘The Third Degree‘ into an infectious techno monster, takes things in a deeper, but no less dramatic direction. Already a staple of Solomun’s recent DJ sets, it’s a track that’ll appeal to a wide range of DJs and dance fans, as Argy confirms.
“Both these remixes will hopefully bring joy to dancefloors around the world and I couldn’t be happier with them!” – Argy
The two remixes, as well as the complete Argy’s album, Interior Journey, are now available via infamous Renaissance Records. You can check them both below or follow this link for a download.
