ATTLAS returns to the spotlight in collaboration with MAYLYN for their “Into Arms Of Lovers,” (download) a lush display of intimate storytelling. The pair’s honeyed single is available worldwide now, and serves as a long-awaited reunion of the two after their evocative 2020 single “Hotel.”

ATTLAS and MAYLYN’s “Into Arms Of Lovers” is a soul-stirring reverie for wandering ears, born out of passion and patience. MAYLYN’s pulsing vocals ebb and flow, weaving tales of solace and solitude in love, awash in ambient euphoria. The spell-binding single is carried by impassioned symphonies of elegant synths, as ATTLAS’ highly technical musicianship shines through. Blending his signature piano elements with nuanced electronic flare, ATTLAS puts forth his emotive best in “Into Arms Of Lovers.”

ATTLAS (real name Jeff Hardford) reflects on the serene, constantly exploring motifs of helplessness and unfettered positivity in times when we most need it. His debut album, Lavender God, and its follow-up, Out Here With You, received high praise from C-Heads Magazine, Cool Hunting, DJ Times, Billboard Dance, and Magnetic Magazine, who described his work as “listening bliss.”

Into Arms Of Lovers,” by ATTLAS, is out now on all platforms and bridges the gap between the known and the unknown in a beautiful symphony of sound and story.

‘Into Arms of Lovers’ has been a project that was an effort of passion and patience from its beginning. An honest final product that we’ve been writing from the first sessions to share with everyone. – ATTLAS

About the artist ATTLAS

ATTLAS has established himself as one of mau5trap’s most well-known artists over the last five years. Jeff Hartford’s love of music began at a young age, when he began playing in bands and learning instruments such as the piano, trumpet, and guitar. When he went to university, his interest in songwriting grew even more, and after finishing his courses, he interned for a composer. During this time, he began to apply the studio techniques he’d learned to electronic music, and he began sending his finished works to deadmau5’s mau5trap label. Hartford released three EPs through the Canadian imprint in 2015, after the label signed a few tracks and then ATTLAS as an artist.

He’s released singles, EPs, and remixes since then, all of which showcase the textured, introspective sound he’s spent years honing.

The ATTLAS journey saw exciting new developments in 2019, including a new installment of his acclaimed Storyline series and a debut album. According to Hartford, the album “synthesized all the experiences and wandering paths that ATTLAS walks,” bringing together heavier sounds and the emotive melodies on which he’s built his musical brand.

Everyone has had a difficult year in 2020, including Hartford, who was forced to cancel his Lavender God Tour, which was named after his debut album. Rather than dwelling on missed opportunities, Jeff has used this year to focus on honing his musical skills. Jeff is set to release his second album at the end of November, following a few one-off releases and remixes, including the captivating melodic single “The Night Air Was Cool.” The latest album, titled Out Here With You, encompasses the shift in the music industry and the way we’re digesting music without live touring.

Out Here With You is Jeff’s way of showing his fans and the rest of the world that we’re not alone in this difficult time, and that we’re all trying to navigate the current state of the world together.
