The legendary techno festival, Awakenings, has just announced the reschedule from June to September 2021.
Awakening Festival is arguably the biggest techno music festival in the world. Happenin almost every year in June over a weekend, Awakening Festival brings together tens of thousands of people thanks to the wide selection of artists in the lineup.
2019 has seen the last edition of Awakening Festival as the event has been canceled in 2020 because of the Covid pandemic. Re-scheduled for June 2021, the situation regarding the pandemic hasn’t improved yet and the festival organization has been forced to reschedule the event for the end of September.

Unfortunately, June 26 & 27 comes too soon, so we now aim for the second weekend of September. The COVID-19 pandemic is still not over, but things are starting to look a bit brighter.
Just like you, we can’t wait to party together again. We have boldly taken the first step and are preparing for our first post-pandemic event for you, the DJs, the scene, and everybody else involved.
We are very grateful for your support; almost everyone chose to keep their ticket last year. We hope to come up with an update as soon as possible.
The Dutch government is working on all license applications and we have an option on two locations for September. There hasn’t been any event license granted in the Netherlands so far.
As long as there is no assurance about the possibilities regarding COVID, the re-released tickets will not go on sale yet. We don’t think it’s fair to sell something new when there is too much uncertainty.
If you have no intention of visiting the 20th edition of Awakenings Festival anymore, it’s, of course, possible to get a refund. Tickets buyers will be personally contacted by e-mail.
