[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]A year after his debut EP on Lost & Found, the acclaimed label run by Guy J, Kevin Huizing AKA Budakid has returned to the mothership with a new, formidable three-tracker.
Vastly appreciated for his elegant, smooth, and vaguely melancholic Progressive style, Budakid has been delivering music for ten years, music that won the support of heavyweights such as Sasha, Joris Voorn, Guy J, Kölsch and deadmau5; with “A Molton Arrow”, “Estersveld” ft. Zweers and “Boro”, the Berliner strikes yet another brilliant release.
Budakid stamped on his own inventive mark, via a discrete bassline and a touchy piano hook that shouldn’t work but absolutely does. The refined piano stabs, rushing rhythm and suggestive strings provide a soundtrack for that subtle consciousness expansion more than any meditation podcast ever did. It’s an authentic audio journey with those hypnotic synth waves sending shivers down your spines. This three track EP is one of the finest examples of how electronic music could do more than just repeat itself.
