The queen of Belgian techno, Charlotte de Witte, and her label KNTXT are taking stock of their biggest and most fruitful year to date.

Charlotte de Witte

Regarding EPs, Charlotte de Witte released the well-received “Universal Consciousness” and “Apollo” EPs on KNTXT. The music of Amazingblaze, Alignment, and Indira Paganotto was also noteworthy. RPM handled an Acid Asian release in the interim. RPM, a digital-only, turbo-charged sub-label of KNTXT, was established to satisfy the demands of the electronic music scene, which is always growing.

Charlotte de Witte oversaw numerous KNTXT events that sold out all over the world on the performance front. Some of the key events were at Printworks London, 516 S Anderson Street in Los Angeles, Brooklyn Mirage in New York City, Arca in São Paulo, Mandarine Park in Buenos Aires, and stage takeovers at Tomorrowland and Ziggo Dome in collaboration with Awakenings.

The respected musician was the first techno (and female) DJ to close the main stage at Tomorrowland, and she maintained her position as the top-ranked techno DJ in the world thanks to the prestigious DJ Mag “Top 100” survey. Additionally, she collaborated with the founder of the fashion label Filling Pieces, Guillaume Philibert, to design an exclusive collection that was unveiled at the company’s flagship location in Amsterdam during ADE. ADE also included a nine-hour party at Ziggo Dome in association with Awakenings during a generally energizing week.

KNTXT

Looking ahead, 2023 looks to be even bigger, with a massive KNTXT Konnected event scheduled for February 4 at Flanders Expo in her native Belgium.

I’m super excited to take KNTXT back to Ghent again for another massive night at the iconic Flanders Expo. We, the KNTXT family, will prepare something unique for you this night! Something you’ve never seen before. This will be massive!”

3Y Collector Box

Charlotte has released the 3Y Collector Box, an exclusive vinyl box set commemorating the third year of her boutique label KNTXT, to highlight what has been a historic year. The box set includes a special limited edition 3Y box t-shirt in addition to five limited edition vinyls from the label’s third year that feature music from Charlotte de Witte, Amazingblaze, Alignment, and Indira Paganotto. The box set was custom designed for the anniversary by designer Adriaan Tas and is based upon the initial KNTXT branding with a high-end approach to the label’s aesthetic. You may buy the 3Y Collector Box.

Charlotte de Witte is well recognized for her dark, raw style of acid, techno, and anything else with a lot of energy. Although she frequently crosses borders, she still has a great deal of respect for the underground. Highlight appearances on all continents, including becoming the first techno (and female) DJ to headline Tomorrowland’s main stage, Mixmag and DJ Mag covers, and high rankings in charts and lists support her claim to be the new king or queen of techno.

Charlotte de Witte, the number one techno act in the world, is a fierce force of nature who is committed to making 2023 even better than this year.
