Deadmau5 released ‘midas heel/drama free’, two of the track extracted from Netflix’s ‘Polar’ film original soundtrack.
It’s not a scoop that a lot of big personalities of the dance music industries have also worked for Hollywood or any other film companions. Daft Punk, Flying Lotus and many others have worked in the film industry. Now also deadmau5 joined the list with the Netflix film ‘Polar’.
The full 13 records soundtrack will be released January 25th, the same day of the release of the film. Luckily, today on deadmau5 imprint mau5trap, a 2-track EP came out. ‘midas heel/drama free’ is the name of the two records. Defined as glitch hop, both tune features the true essence of electronic music. ‘midas heel’ is the instrumental version of ‘drama free’ which features the incredible Lights’ vocal.

Released today, the 25th of January, ‘Polar (Music From The Netflix Film)’ is the original soundtrack produced by Deadmau5 for the film. It includes 13 original records now available for the stream and download.

Polar is an upcoming film adaptation of the action noir comics series of the same name. It is directed by Jonas Åkerlund and based on a spec script written by Jayson Rothwell. In September 2018, musician Joel Zimmerman (deadmau5) announced that he was in the process of producing the film’s original score.
