EDC Las Vegas presents Virtual Rave-a-thon live stream

Moved from May to October this year, EDC will return to Las Vegas in 2020. To not let fans without music, Electric Daisy Carnival founder Pasquale Rotella will host a 3-day Virtual Festival called Rave-a-thon. The event will be live-streamed this weekend worldwide and it will include 50 artists over the weekend.

The COVID-19 pandemic has re-shaped the electronic music worldwide with the biggest festivals canceling their 2020 edition, clubs forced to close and DJs stuck at home. For this reason, with tons of free time and no chance to tour, A lot of DJs and event organizers have launched a series of Virtual Event. In the form of a normal live stream, big festivals have moved their lineup on online marathons with 24-hour and even 36-hour non-stop live stream as happened some weeks ago thanks to Beatport. Defected and Glitterbox have also launched their Virtual Festival series, with the label streaming almost every week. Tale Of Us’ Afterlife has started a live-stream series on their channel called Unity already featuring the label bosses as well as Innellea.

This time, EDC wants to raise the standards with a 3-day live festival. Besides the normal YouTube, Twitch, and Facebook live stream, Virtual Rave-a-thon will let you join a Zoom party with hundreds of other ravers; on top of that, if you own a PS4 VR headset, you will be able to enjoy the stream in virtual reality.

Electric Daisy Carnival Las Vegas Virtual Rave-a-thon will start today, Friday, May 15 with Nghtmre b2b Ghastly at 5 PM. On the lineup today K?D, Tchami, ZHU, Deds Dead, Oliver Heldens, Borgore, and more. Day 2 will start tomorrow at the same time with Ekali followed by Malaa, Benny Benassi, Kaskade, Don Diablo, i_o, and more. Sunday there will the closing with Duke Dumont, David Guetta, Afrojack, Seven Lions, and more artists. Below you can find the full schedule for the 3-day festival
