Facebook, Instagram, Messanger and Whatsapp down worldwide
The complete suite of Facebook services, from Messanger to Whatsapp going through Instagram are suffering widespread outages worldwide with a result down of the services.
It has all started today at around 7 pm CET when first Instagram and then Facebook have shown sign of not working correctly. The Instagram feed was unable to update and it had become impossible to post on Facebook. Facebook Messenger has also seen signs of not working. The problem has rapidly touched Whatsapp that, on our experience, seems to be the most working right now, considering the impossibility to use Instagram at the moment.
Of course, at the moment there’sno information on what has caused the issue. facebook, in a tweet, has updated the users:
We’re aware that some people are currently having trouble accessing the Facebook family of apps. We’re working to resolve the issue as soon as possible.
We’re focused on working to resolve the issue as soon as possible, but can confirm that the issue is not related to a DDoS attack.
This seems to be the longest and bigger down service that the whole Facebook services have ever experienced. Recent news has suggested that the Facebook company was at work to join all the messaging environment into a big and unique system; in this way, users from the different socials should be able to contact each other without switching from platform to another. Could this be the problem?
At the moment problems persist.
If you’re experiencing issues, don’t uninstall and reinstall or log out the app; it will lead to an inability to log in again.
