6 artists you can’t miss at EDC Orlando 2022

Electric Daisy Carnival is set to return to Orlando, Florida, for the 2022 edition. With more than 150 artists, these are the ones you can't miss.

Electric Daisy Carnival EDC Orlando 2022 is ready to kick off this weekend but, what are the artists you can’t definitely miss? These are our picks from the lineup of EDC Orlando 2022, starting this Friday the 11th all the way to Sunday the 13th. Florida is also being crossed by a hurricane but according to EDC, which is in strict contact with the local authorities, it should pass before the gates open.

1. Martin Garrix

Multiple times #1 DJ in the world according to DJ Mag, Martin Garrix needs no introduction. After a massive label party with his STMPD in Amsterdam, Garrix recently performed at the Formula 1 Grand Prix in Mexico. Spacing from mainstream big room to progressive house and sometimes hard techno, expect a wide array of sounds and music, including brand new IDs. During his ADE performance, he played almost 10 new songs and rumors suggest he’s collaborating in the studio with Alesso. Maybe, EDC Orlando 2022 is the chance to world premiere this brand-new song.

Martin Garrix will perform as the closing act on the Kinetic Field on Friday at 10:27 PM.

2. Kaskade Redux

You may know who Kaskade is but, what about Kaskade Redux? It’s a tribute to his music style and a return to its foundations. The project started on the 10th anniversary of It’s you it’s me album so, maybe having a listen to it would help you understand what you’ll listen to. Don’t expect only old music tho. He plays all kinds of house music, including tracks from 1986 and the future and deep house. And about Kasakde’s old production, most of the time they are played as Redux edits or mashups.

You’ll find Kaskade during sunset (5:29 PM) on the Kinetic Field on Friday.

3. Patrick Topping presents Trick

Trick, Patrick Topping’s own imprint will make its return to EDC. If you’re into house, tech-house, and techno, this is for you. TRICK is a place for Patrick to demonstrate his flexibility as a producer and a venue to highlight the variety of up-and-coming talent he has been championing in his DJ performances. Spacing from Ellum to Hot Creations, and moving through Anjunadeep as well, Patrick Topping Trick’s set will be surely a journey you can’t miss at EDC Orlando 2022.

Neon Garden on Friday will see Patrick Topping closing the stage from 10:30 PM.

4. Audien

With a Grammy nomination for the best-remixed record, Audien has been on the first lines when it comes to progressive and main room house. There are plenty of additional surprises in his sets to keep listeners on their toes along the way, even though the musical style mainly leans toward the progressive house for which Audien has become renowned.

EDC Orlando 2022 will see Audien perform at Kinetic Field at 4:30 PM on Saturday.

5. Above & Beyond

Running several high-caliber music labels such as Anjunabeats and Anjunadeep, Above & Beyond have recently sold out the 500th edition of their iconic show, Group Therapy. For twenty years, Above & Beyond has led the way in electronic dance music. They have received two GRAMMYTM nominations for their work as the founders of the record labels Anjunadeep and Anjunabeats as well as Group Therapy, a weekly radio show that airs to millions of dance music fans every Friday. Above & Beyond’s impressive list of sold-out performances includes headlining appearances at storied venues like New York City’s Madison Square Garden, The Hollywood Bowl, and The Sydney Opera House, to mention a few. The band is dubbed “the world’s biggest cult band” by UK music bible Q Magazine.

On the sunset set slot, Above & Beyond will perform from 5:35 PM on the Kinetic Field.

6. The whole Neon Garden stage on Sunday

Not really the 6 name you would expect but the Neon Garden stage on Sunday is pure joy. Kicking off at 4 PM with 999999999 Hybrid Live/DJ Set (basically a mix of live production with Ableton and analog/digital gears and DJ console mixing), the cryptic duo is rapidly followed by Ellen Allien. Italian favourite Enrico Sangiuliano is next, with his newly launched brand NINE TO ZERO. If one wasn’t enough, three is the perfect number as from 8:30 PM you’ll see and hear a fantastic b2b set between Italian heavyweights Dubfire and Ilario Alicante. Expect some heavy techno beats with some sprinkle of melodic and minimal tech house. Last but not least, closing the Neon Garden stage, the techno Quen, her majesty Charlotte de Witte who will surely bring some KNTXT vibes to EDC Orlando 2022.
