7+1 events you can’t miss during Amsterdam Dance Event ADE 2021
With the Amsterdam Dance Event around the corner, parties, festivals, and events, in general, have started to be announced dramatically. Because of the government’s regulation that permits night’s events to run only until midnight, the number of parties that overlap is increasing. This is why, as every year, we have decided to collect the most interesting ones, according to our musical taste and experience. This is our list of the best 7+1 events during the Amsterdam Dance Event ADE 2021.
It could be easily the most known event during the Amsterdam Dance Event but for the underground music lovers, Awakenings is the ultimate party destination. With 9 events on 2 venues, this year’s Awakenings is the biggest ever made. Not only the famous Gashouder but the Ziggo Dome will also hold Awakenings’ parties. The 13.000 capacity Ziggo Dome will host a special event with Reinier Zonneveld, which went would out in 3 hours after more than 100.000 people tried to save a ticket.
It’s unbelievable that my all-night live show in the Ziggo Dome with Awakenings sold out this fast. It feels like a dream coming true to create the biggest indoor techno dance floor during ADE where I will be playing only my own music all night long. I want to thank all fans for making this possible and I can’t wait to rave with you all – Reinier Zonneveld.
Other parties at Gashouder include Tale Of Us’ leading Afterlife event, Joris Voorn’s Spectrum label night (besides behind held by day because of the Government’s regulation), Adam Beyer presents Drumcode, Charlotte de Witte presents KNTXT, and Exhale with Amelie Lens.
Nxt Museum Presents: Air
Nxt Museum and Amsterdam Dance Event have teamed up for the second year to present the visionary visuals and sounds of an Artist in Residence program. At Nxt Stage, two 45-minute music performances will showcase cutting-edge audiovisual culture.
One sound and one visual artist are paired in a collaboration of local and international talent:
LYZZA is an Amsterdam-based producer and vocalizer of reverberating dark-pop DJ sets, inspired by digital artist SAM MADHU’s posthuman symbolisms.
GUILLAUME ROUX, animator of post-apocalyptic virtual worlds, collaborates with HYPERAKTIVIST, a Venezuelan-born Berlin-based maker of change and pulsating techno-tribalisms.

During the Amsterdam Dance Event, 2021 Loveland will deliver an insane amount of parties including Solomun and Pan-Pot all day long, Jamie Jones’ Paradise party, and Circoloco. Loveland will host its events in two different locations: the historic The Warehouse, located in the Houthavens in the center of Amsterdam and, Mediahaven, three rooms connected location. The rooms vary from a 12-meter-high ceiling to a basement with a grungier feel to them. And best of all, it has an amazing acoustic.
DGTL will be back on October 14, 15, and 16 for three ADE events:
DGTL x IPSO ADE: Kölsch, Maya Jane Coles and more – 16:00-00:00
