Ultra Miami 2019 is over and what a journey it has been. We’ve enjoyed every single moment and a full review of the festival will come out on the following days. One of the performances we have enjoyed the most was the one by Alesso.
In the last few years, the Swedish superstar moved slightly to the pop and radio environment, declaring more than once that he was tired of progressive and that kind of “mainstage” music. Needless to say, longtime fans were very happy with this decision since he’s one of the best DJ and producer of the genre. Luckily, maybe for the return of Swedish House Mafia, maybe for other reasons, Mr. Alesso, some months ago, started to come back to his roots. First, with a new single and then with a full EP, the progressive-electro Alesso’s soul has come back to surface.
Alesso’s performance at Ultra Miami 2019 mainstage was mindblowing. We’ve followed from the front row; no choice was better. Kicking off with his brand new tune PROGRESSO, he started playing progressive house classics as Under Control, Years, and In My Mind as well as a lot of his tunes. He played also a new ID, supposed to be Knife Party No Saint.
For sure, Alesso’s performance was one of the best at Ultra Miami 2019. Mr. Alesso uploaded it in full on his YouTube channel so, you can now stream and watch the complete set.
