[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Creamfields 10,000 Hours FoundationWith over 300 acts performing across 4 days, UK finest festival Creamfields has just announced its partnership with the 10,000 Hours Foundation; this time the goal is to recruit volunteers from their fanbase and giving them a crash course in volunteering using the festival’s brand as a bridge between the fans and the local charities and initiatives.

Creamfields and the 10,000 Hours Foundation team up to connect festival fans with voluntary work.

This year’s day of volunteering will be held at a hostel for the homeless on Saturday 11th August. Halton Lodge in Runcorn provides shelter for people who have been living on the streets or are at risk of becoming homeless.

One of this year’s performers Yousef who is hosting his own Circus arena at Creamfields is the first confirmed volunteer for 2018 and will be joining the team to help out on the day. The day will introduce 20 Creamfields fans to volunteering, starting with an introduction to volunteer work, followed by a chance to gain experience of working in the kitchen, gardening, assisting with an array of holistic and mindfulness classes, and teaching residents production skills in the on-site music studio.

“All of us at Creative Support Halton Lodge are very excited to be partnering with Creamfields and 10,000 Hours this summer. Volunteers are an integral part of the work that we do to support people who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless. We are looking forward to welcoming our new recruits.” – A spokesperson from Halton Lodge
