Creamfields 2018 is going to push the festival experience to another level with SILO, a brand new 360° structure, and stage experience never seen before in a music festival.
When it comes to innovation, incredible production, and mind-blowing special effects, Creamfields is one of the leading festivals in the world. The 2018 edition will be even better thanks to the introduction to a new and never seen before stage structure called SILO, the first truly 360 degree, stadium-like structure and the first of three new arenas to be revealed this year.
SILO takes a year of developing to create a fully immersive structure, something dark, intimate and completely different to any other festival stage. With lights, speakers, special effects all around you, SILO is a 360° super immersive music arena. Creamfields took an example from the Colosseum reversing crowds and show positions: the crowd will be in the middle of the arena surrounded by a 360° show.
Creamfields 2018 new stage SILO is the 360° super immersive new experience and the first of three new arenas that will be announced.
SILO provides a 40m wide circular dancefloor, with towering walls and a vast cylindrical space and tiered viewing platforms giving festival goers a unique aerial view. Despite the wall of sound and custom video (that can be more or less seen in a lot of festivals) Creamfields has decided to stand out with 140 hybrid strobes and 80 moving light but keeping the show simple: dark, underground and immersive offering a truly unique audio, visual experience.
Creamfields returns to Daresbury, Cheshire, UK for 4 days across the August Bank Holiday weekend, with over 30 stages hosted by some of the biggest names in electronic music. For more info about the line-up, stages, tickets, and dates please check our previous article
