Defected Ibiza Festival – Venue and Lineup Announcement

Defected’s inaugural Ibiza Festival is taking shape, with the label announcing four of the five venues where parties will take place between Thursday 14th – Monday 18th May.

Legendary house music label Defected is ready to launch its Ibiza Festival from 14 to 18 March 2020 with almost 30 artists over 5 venues.

After throwing parties on the island for almost two decades, continuous label party around the world and the relatively new Defected Croatia event, the iconic music label this year will bring its own music festival in la Isla Blanca. Defected has just announced four out of five venues located for this incredible 4-day festival packed of house music.

Defected Ibiza Festival venues

Thursday evening will see Defected Festival kick the things off at Cova Santa, from 6 pm to 12 am; this quintessentially Balearic venue is the perfect location to set the tone of the festival. Known for its infamous Music On afterparties, the idyllic countryside setting makes it a uniquely magical location for getting the party started. With stunning surroundings and lush gardens house, attendants will also enjoy an impressive sound system for the perfect audio experience. Friday sees Defected’s opening night at Eden, from 12 am to 6 am, with a sunset session at Café Mambo to warm things up beforehand.

About 11 hours to rest and Defected will welcome you again at its beach party. Starting at 5 pm and running until 11 pm, it will take place at a secret beach location. After that, Defected will move to Ibiza town for Classic Music Company’s takeover of the HEART club (11 pm-5 am). Channeling Ibiza’s long-held attitudes of free-spiritedness and open-mindedness, it makes the perfect location for Classic’s event.

The final day of the festival is all about Glitterbox; the unstoppable nightlife movement will be delivering a heavy dose of disco hedonism to San Antonio with a sunset pre-party at Café Mambo. From there party-people will head to spectacular Playa d’en Bossa club Hï Ibiza (11.30 pm – 6 am). Known for its jaw-dropping production, Glitterbox’s drag queens, club kids, performers, and dancers bring the Glitterbox ethos to life, as the authoritative soundtrack of party-starting nu-disco, vocal house, and classic anthems take the party through till sunrise.

Defected Ibiza will welcome the best name of the house music panorama; from Gorgon City to Mambo Brothers, including Defected founder Simon Dunmore and tons more, the 4-day festival will be the perfect event to kick off Defected Ibiza season. In fact, the label will host its annual residencies at Café Mambo, Eden and Hï Ibiza for a 2020 summer program that promises to be massive.
