The 2023 edition of DGTL Amsterdam will take place in the expansive industrial landscape of NDSM Docklands on April 7, 8, and 9. Music aficionados from the Netherlands, Europe, and beyond will attend. Tens of thousands of people will travel to the Dutch capital to attend DGTL’s flagship festival, which will include eight stages bursting with some of the best electronic music artists in the world. As the full line-up is finally unveiled, and with Early Bird tickets now completely sold out, the race is on to be part of this truly incredible electronic music event.

In November 2022, DGTL initially revealed the dates for their signature event and promised one of the most electrifying lineups and live performances for 2023. Today’s list of participants makes it very evident that the festival mammoth more than kept its word. Alongside upcoming talents from the next generation, global icons and dance floor giants are featured on the lineup, together with some of the Netherlands’ most highly recognized musicians.

The depth and scope of DGTL’s overall billing further highlight their dedication to real diversity and inclusivity.

Representation matters. We’ve worked hard to make sure our line-up reflects the entire spectrum of communities within dance music. It’s a chance to show what genuine commitment to diversity and inclusion can produce, and give a platform to exciting artists from all across the spectrum. – Ellen Evers, DGTL’s Festival Director

Doors open at 22:00 on Friday night for the highly anticipated DGTL Amsterdam debut of GRAMMY-winning UK producer mura masa. The 2023 edition will be launched in spectacular fashion for those inside the grounds of NDSM Docklands, with The Blessed Madonna, Passion Deez, and TAAHLIAH & I. Jordan lining up behind him in the booth.

On Saturday, the heavy hitters never stop. The list of artists who will perform mind-blowing sets over the course of 11 hours includes Camelphat, Jayda G, Ela Minus (LIVE), Folamour, Honey Dijon, DJ Seinfeld, VTSS, and Satori (LIVE). After that, Denis Sulta, Danilo Plessow, Bambounou, and Kamma & Masalo will take the party into the later, darker after-party hours.

An Eris Drew b2b Octo Octa set on Sunday afternoon is one of the hottest events in dance music and is expected to be one of the weekend’s major draws. With acts like Moderat, The Martinez Brothers, Hot Since 82, Monolink (LIVE), Paula Temple, SHERELLE & Special Request, Valentina Luz, Coloray (LIVE), Black Cadmium, and Bonobo, the energy will reach a boiling point across the Docklands and deliver Amsterdam a festival event that will blow all others out of the water. As the stars come out on the final night, Sunday nights programming will see Octo Octa, Benny Rodrigues, Dr. Rubinstein, and Sedef Adasi bring things to an explosive close.

Sustainability & Responsibility at DGTL 2023

DGTL accomplished a significant feat in 2022 by being the first circular dance festival in history. The sustainability team at DGTL will work toward a new objective in 2023: making DGTL a successful festival that goes beyond circular. The festival will work with the Doughnut economy model in cooperation with the city of Amsterdam.

In recent years, DGTL has been aiming to use circular technologies to reduce the festival’s emissions to zero. By requesting that visitors assume responsibility for the emissions produced by their travel actions, they are now moving forward. It comes down to collective accountability to ensure that the visitor’s last emissions are also reduced.

At DGTL, everyone should always feel welcome. Every sex, race/ethnic origin, sexual orientation, gender identity, or expression, cultural background, religious affiliation, age, and physical or mental capacity has been taken into consideration by the DGTL team.

In 2022 DGTL started its journey exploring the concepts of safe spaces and festival ethics with its DGTL Safe(r) Project. The DGTL will continue on that road for this year’s edition.
