Construction of the iconic Tomorrowland mainstage has started and the huge stage is showing itself in all its glory. This year’s theme is “The Reflection of Love” and the main stage design will follow this path. Tomorrowland is set to return this year, 2022, after two years of stopping because of the pandemic. To celebrate the return in the best way possible, Tomorrowland is adding one more weekend, spreading the festival for a total of 9 days over three weekends. Kicking off Friday, July 15 the festivals will officially end on the 31st of July 2022 for its first and last weekend.
Of course, with less than 3 weeks left, construction at the site has already started. Officially, the renovation of the park in Boom, Belgium, where Tomorrowland takes place, started weeks ago with the introduction of The Stairway To Unity. Over the following weeks, stages and structures have been put in place. We are now able to show you some sneak peek of Tomorrowland’s main stage, including aerial shots.
The first shot shows the festival area in all its glory. From the back of the main stage to the tent and the stages on the lakes. the whole area is taking place and you can already spot some stages almost fully built.
How Tomorrowland 2022 mainstage will look like?
In this first shot, you can have a rough idea of what Tomorrowland 2022 main stage will look like. The stage looks monumental with its main central white pinnacle. In the middle, it seems to have a giant organ. There’s no sign of light beans, lasers, or fountains mounted at the moment. These first pictures look super promising and we can’t wait to see the main stage fully built and in action.
