Oasis Into the Wild festival moves to the ‘Hollywood of Morocco’

Oasis: Into the Wild announced a brand-new venue for the festival’s second installment as well as the first wave of bands for 2023. Oasis: Into the Wild, which runs from October 27 through October 29, will take place at the renowned Atlas Studios in Ouarzazate, Morocco, where epics like Gladiator, Game of Thrones, and The Mummy were shot. This sophisticated event provides a feast for the senses with top-tier music from international artists like Honey Dijon, DJ Koze, Jyoty, Partiboi69 b2b LB aka Labat, Romy, Sofia Kourtesis, and TSHA, as well as an impressive lineup of renowned Moroccan acts.

The crew behind Morocco’s Oasis Festival is behind the newest festival idea, Into the Wild. Journeying beyond Oasis Festival’s original home in Marrakech, Into the Wild invites festivalgoers to dance somewhere different and discover yet more of Morocco’s most unique and exciting travel destinations through the lens of music, culture, and well-being.

Oasis Into the Wild presents its lineup including Honey Dijon and more

Honey Dijon, a Grammy Award-winning collaborator of Beyoncé, is at the top of the bill for the first wave of performances at Into the Wild 2023, along with the unconventional sounds of Pampa leader DJ Koze. Jyoty, a London-based artist with roots in Amsterdam, offers her bouncy blend of genre-defying club music, and Partiboi69, a mysterious selector, performs b2b with Frenchman LB alias Labat. The xx’s Romy steps up for a hybrid set, performing tracks from her new solo album, plus there are worldly sounds from Peruvian producer, vocalist, and DJ Sofia Kourtesis, and forward-thinking house and techno from London-based TSHA.

Elsewhere on the festival bill, there are ravey dreamscapes from British-Pakistani producer Ahadadream, eclectic mixes of funk, soul and jazz from NTS regular Mafalda, sweet garage from originator Todd Edwards, raw techno from Maelstrom & Louisahhh, off-beat thrills from psychedelic soul-savant Jitwan and much more across the electronic spectrum from Goya Gumbani, Kampire, Nabihah Iqbal, Nooriyah, Paula Tape and Tarzsa.

A multitude of indigenous artists and rising Moroccan stars, such as AliA, ANA, AMVN, Capra, Driss Bennis alias OCB, Kawtar Sadik, Kosh, Liver J, Nathabes B2B Abel Ray, NOMADS, and OJOO GYAL, are also shaping their scene.
