Watch Rüfüs Du Sol conquering Coachella 2019 Outdoor Theatre

A mix of music, visual and technology is what happened with Rüfüs Du Sol at Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival 2019.

Born as Rüfüs and evolved into Rüfüs Du Sol, the Australian electronic band has been on the fast track since a long time thanks also to the numerous award-winning releases. You surely know ‘Innerbloom,’ their 2016 release that now counts millions of plays and streams.

This year the Australian trio has come back to Coachella Valley for two main reasons: their performance at the Outdoor Theatre theatre and the world premiere of ‘Underwater’.

What’s ‘Underwater’? Just image the built-in visual effects of iTunes or Windows Media Player when you play music. Particular and physics effects that evolve according to the music you play. Now move these small simulations into 11,000-square foot projection dome covered by screens.

In collaboration with HP, the Antarctic Dome returns to Coachella 2019. The dome offers a truly 360° immersive experience into Rüfüs Du Sol ‘Underwater’. This show will run about every 15 minutes during both weekends.

Directed by James Frost with the participation of Harrison Vincent, Joey Camacho, Joyce Ho, Nicolas Arnold and Ryan Hawthrone for the visuals, the video tells an abstract story of emotional human resilience.

The incredible ‘Underwater’ installment is not the only Rüfüs Du Sol performance at Coachella 2019. The trio has also played an outstanding performance at the Outdoor Theatre.

Streamed live by Coachella, the performance can now be enjoyed on-demand on top of the article (you need a VK account). You can also find Rüfüs Du Sol’s interview at Coachella 2019 below.
