With an official statement, Ultra Europe has officially announced its relocation at Mladeži Park. Starting from this year edition all the way to 2022, Ultra Europe won’t return at Poljud Stadium.

Ultra explained that together with local authorities and in consultation with various Croatian government agencies, along with production and security experts from the Ultra Europe team, this was the best solution for an even better festival.

With a larger location (more than 15.000m²) Ultra Europe 2019 will be the biggest edition ever of the Croatian festival.

the new location is less than a mile away from Poljud Stadium and the new site will accommodate at least 165,000 attendees.

In order to better accommodate the record-breaking number of attendees this year and in order to upgrade your on-site experience, Ultra Europe will be relocated from the grounds of Poljud Stadium to the adjacent Mladeži Park, less than a kilometer away. This relocation will take effect this year (2019) and will continue until at least 2022.

This decision has been made on the recommendation of local authorities and in consultation with various Croatian government agencies, along with production and security experts from the Ultra Europe team. The new location is much larger (15,000m² of additional space), closer to hotels and transportation, allows for shorter distances between stage areas, and is better suited to the larger number of attendees.

As Ultra Europe has grown, there has always been a long-term vision for a more expanded setting for the festival. An ideal venue would facilitate the growth and development of the festival experience, contain additional amenities for attendees’ comfort and convenience, and provide added space to create the premium event that fans expect. It has also been important to respect the needs of the local area, and the sporting community of Croatia should be congratulated for the incredible accomplishments that their football teams have achieved on the world stage. Therefore, Mladeži Park has been selected as a permanent site that contributes to the goals of Ultra Europe while honoring the needs of important local stakeholders.

The new site will accommodate at least 165,000 attendees throughout the weekend, with an additional 30000m² of park space available for future years. It also allows for a larger main stage than ever before, and other technical and logistical enhancements not previously available at our prior location.

The entire Ultra Europe team, in cooperation with the City of Split and the Croatian Ministry of Tourism believe that our attendees will be greatly pleased with the upgrade that this relocation represents, and look forward to welcoming you to the new home of Ultra Europe!
