Together with Tomorrowland Winter, Ultra Music Festival Miami has been one of the biggest festivals to cancel its 2020 edition because of the new Covid-19 Coronavirus. Unfortunately, even if the festival won’t take place this year, Ultra won’t offer any full refund on the price of the ticket.
Instead, your already purchased Ultra Miami ticket will be valid for 2021 or 2022 edition. Ultra Miami is also offering free tickets or discount code for future event’s tickets. For instance, you can convert 2020 ticket into a 2021 ticket for any Ultra Worldwide or Resistance event.
More options are an exclusive main stage performance and discounts for a new “premium GA” upgrade ticket, or Ultra merchandise.
As expected, as soon as the first costumers received the email, a riot has started on social media. Ultra Music Festival stated that they can do that because of their ticket policy which includes the possibility to offer new tickets or packages instead of a full refund.
Tomorrowland Winter has been also forced to cancel the whole event because the new Covid-19 Coronavirus but organizers have refunded the full festival ticket price adding even more benefit for the 2021 edition of both the main Belgium festival and the Winter Edition.
