[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]After a small period of silence, Steve Angello’s imprint, SIZE, is back with the Italian duo Anderblast and their single ‘Anima’.
Anderblast are not new to SIZE; their debut tracks happened last year with ‘Genesi’, a collaboration with another Italian duo, Havoc and Lawn. They have also launched their personal music label, which is called RAMBLA, that has achieved very good results lately.
Anderblast returns on Steve Angello’s SIZE with ‘Anima’.
Talking about ‘Anima’, which is currently out worldwide, is a techy record which features deep and dark vibes and a hypnotic percussive rhythm. The background is preceded by a typical house talking-vocal loop that brings the listener to the second part of the track. ‘Anima‘ is not the classic record than you can expect on SIZE; we would have seen it better on Defected or some more underground labels but, in the last period, SIZE seems to be very interested in the underground industry.
Another change in the music label is about the cover art (again) that now are smartphone-friendly. Yellow spray paint on a black background, the main image is a 9:16 resolution.
SIZE has recently released two EPs by Ukrainian talent Lugovskiy part of a bigger three parts EP. All the records contained in the EPs are also very underground and, we must not forget that the third is not out yet. Can we expect a new, more underground-oriented side for SIZE?
