One of the finest, classiest and cherished products of the British Electronic scene, Icarus have firmly established themselves at home as well as in the entire world.
Having received massive support for their earlier releases – “October”, “Echoes”, and “King Kong”, just to name a few -, Tom and Ian also collected various “Hottest Record In The World” tags, making them one of Annie Mac’s favourite acts. Beside productions, Icarus also made a name for themselves thanks to their beautiful live shows, at the point that RÜFÜS wanted them to join their Solace Tour.
Icarus’ latest delivery is the splendid “Sirens” three-track remix EP, which features reworks from Denney, Motez and My Friend. Denney did a great job on the drums, creating a groovy yet emotional Anjunadeep-ish remix; Motez’s is way harder, characterized by an aggressive acid lead, perfect for a dark and smoky club. Closing the EP is My Friend’s remix: the duo, who released an incredible EP on Anjunabeats last year, delights the listener with a delicate Progressive take.
